At South Austin Counseling, fees are determined by individual providers, based upon experience, education, and background. Please call for more information about providers and fees.
If we do not have a counselor who has a network contract with your insurer, we are happy to assist by checking your out-of network benefits for mental health services and providing you properly coded receipts that you may submit to your insurance company to seek out-of-network reimbursement.*
*Payment or reimbursement for services from your insurance company depends solely on your plan benefits and eligibility.
Reduced Fee Services
Our Licensed Professional Counselor Interns (LPC Interns), Licensed Marriage and Family Associates (LMFT Associates) and Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSWs) provide our reduced-fee services, while they gain advanced clinical experience while working under the clinical supervision of more experienced, senior clinicians, who are board-approved supervisors in their respective fields. All reduced-fee providers have earned graduate degrees (Masters or Ph.D.) and are provisionally licensed by the state of Texas to provide counseling services during this phase of their careers. Please read below if you’re interested in learning more about LPC Interns and LMSWs.
